Everybody
into the pool!
2005 saw the completion of our beautiful 16' x 35' in-ground pool.
Since then, a variety of hydrangeas, roses and blueberry bushes
have grown to frame the large fenced yard.
The pool area has become a favorite spot for company outings and
family reunions. We hosted a 130 person rehearsal dinner clambake
last September, complete with a "fire dancer" (who was
judiciously positioned poolside for his performance.)

Another
successful cranberry harvest for Dean and Annie
We are fortunate to have as our neighbor an 11- acre cranberry bog
(the first cultivated bog in the country) which spoils us with spectacular
sunsets almost daily. We encourage our guests to enjoy Dean's labor
of love from a distance and not use it as a walking path! The harvest
is in, and for the best cranberry bread recipe around, go to
www.anniescrannies.com. If you're lucky enough to be in the
neighborhood around harvest time each fall you can visit Annie's
bog and delightful shop across the street from us. You'll know when
the shop is open, not just by the signs along the road but by the
curious stream of cars that come up Scarsdale Road that time of
year!
